SOR 1994-2019 – A Land Boom and a Mining Boom and their Aftermath

Over the quarter century from 1994 to 2019 Australia pursued economic policies based on neo-liberal theories. Though economic growth was maintained through the period, weaknesses emerged. What passed for full employment was maintained at the cost of increasing household and international debt, and inequality of income increased.
